David Edelstein was born in New York.  Over the years David worked with his father in the construction business, building homes and buildings.  After moving to Bellingham, Washington, David became enamored with the idea of beginning a house moving company. 

In 1982, David purchased the required equipment and formally went into business as a moving builder.
